GOP Should Be Willing to Politically Bleed, Fight, and Die to Get Voter ID
Face it, pubbies, you don’t have the equipment to fight the ballot harvesting, or control of the voting machines, or the pallets of ballots, or the never-ending recounts. But you do have 50 votes to pass the most important voting act of the century. But, but WWSD? Schumer would kill the zombie-filibuster is less than a minute. If your cause is not important enough to stand up talking about it for 15 hours, it’s not much of a cause. Listening to Democrats babble for hours should be enough to push everybody over to the Republican side. Democrats have many hills to die on. Show courage and make the SAVE ACT your hill to die on.
Headline: Senate Republican: Rand Paul a ‘freaking snake’
Comment; ‘They’re all snakes there. All 535 members of Congress need to be flushed.’
Vietnam War veterans sue over Trump’s proposed triumphal arch
Three Vietnam War veterans on Thursday filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration to bar it from constructing his proposed triumphal arch in Washington’s Memorial Circle, arguing that it does not have congressional approval. Be Honest; National Vietnam War Veterans Day is observed annually on March 29. Established by the Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017. How many celebrate it? Couldn't find it on your calendar? It is there on a few along with:
Education and Sharing Day
Knights of Columbus Founders Day
Mermaid Day
National Lemon Chiffon Cake Day
National Mom and Pop Business Owners Day
National Pita Day
National Smoke and Mirrors Day
National Vietnam War Veterans Day
Niagara Falls Runs Dry Day
PayDay It Forward
World Piano Day-I suspect more knew it as ‘Johnson’s War’. Now 3 of them are objecting to Trump’s 250th Memorial Arch. Three Vietnam War veterans on Thursday filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration to bar it from constructing his proposed triumphal arch in Washington’s Memorial Circle, arguing that it does not have congressional approval. I’m guessing the Vietnam war vets will get more recognition on that Arch than in the last 60 years. A sad chapter in America’s history. They were treated like scum, the first to get PTSD. As always, Democrats were never blamed. The argument:
the arch, which is planned to stand 250 feel tall if completed, would obstruct the view of the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery, according to the government watchdog group Public Citizen, who filed the lawsuit on the veterans’ and historian’s behalf. If you care about our veterans, please let your congresscritter know.
Mortgage rates fall to lowest level since 2022. Headline you’ll never see on MSM.
People prefer the empathy of humans, but rate ‘fake’ AI empathy higher
The findings, published in Communications Psychology, suggest that when given a choice, people prefer to receive empathy from other humans, yet they rate AI responses as more supportive than human ones. And it will only become more so. AI will determine what you crave most, and will supply it in ways you never imagined.

The GOP are the minority partner in the Uniparty, and as such, are relegated to spineless status lacking cojones, bravery, or even the mission to work for the public good.
Ever notice whoever is in power spends an inordinate amount of time complaining about whoever isn't in power, but never does anything to solve the problem? They take turns being "good cop/bad cop" and it's bamboozled the American people for over a century.
As a Vietnam vet, part of a cadre that's starting to die pretty quickly, I'll say that if you didn't honor what we did when we did it, an arch is a brick and mortar expression of a guilt trip, and is still not honoring our sacrifice. Those who spit on us in airports never said they were sorry - a triumphal arch can't do it for them.
The GOP are cowards and controlled. Period.
Next, Mermaid Day? Awesome.
The Vietnam vets are Baby Boomers, my generation- this lawsuit is absolutely ridiculous.
