Paul,

SCOTUS ruled constitutionally. In keeping with the rights and powers depicted in the Constitution, I believe the Demonrats will go to court early and often in an effort to tie this ruling up until after 2028. Just sayin.

John Thune is a Democrat in a better suit. He's in no way a leader. Everyone knows (I hate that statement - so full of crap) that the Dems will remove the filibuster as soon as they regain power (it will happen unfortunately). Get rid of it now and make hay while the sun shines. Thune and most of the rest of the Senate Republicans are placeholders who would be Democrats if that's what it took to be elected. Thune needs to lead or get the hell out of the way.

The establishment of a city anywhere in the US that substitutes Sharia for Constitutional law is wrong, but cannot be punished until they actually start unconstitutional practices. Try chaeging me for being a Christian and someone's going to jail. That would be you for the attempt or me for shooting you. There may be situations where local custome is used to resolve a conflict, but not if that conflict involves violating a law. A HOA can fine you for having long grass, but has no power to enforce traffic laws. Same goes for Sharia vs Constitution. I'm tired of people coming to the US for a "better life" and then trying to turn us into the third world hellhole they came from.

Graham Platner is an insult to the US, the Marines, and himself. He absolutely allowed the Totenkopf Skull to be inked on his chest, and not removing it for decades doesn't say anything except he can't admit he a Nazi in public and get elected. I hope Susan Collins stomps his butt back into the mud he came from.

The claim by the Secret Service is that the assassin (attempted) shot the SS agent (actually think he was uniform division), and that there was a spent shell casing in the chamber of the SHOTGUN. Sorry, but unless I'm totally naive, a hit by a shotgun firing buckshot doesn't necessarily penetrate a bulletproof vest, but the injury would be significant. Don't know where the officer was hit, but it seems he was released from the hospital quickly. I'd go with blue on blue until I saw the vest, as a shotgun will make a very different pattern than a single bullet. As to the marksmanship, a running man is a difficult target with a handgun and a massive adrenalin spike.

Have a great weekend!

Latest is it was not friendly fire. Regardless, 'friendly' couldn't hit anything else..
