A love note to my doctor: The eye drops you prescribed Dec 5 have not arrived-I would posit the pony express could have delivered them in less time. Meanwhile, the eye is still bothering me. May I suggest you use a local pharmacy in the future?
The final update from possibly the most inefficient service of the US Government.

Imagine, if you will, how much more efficient delivery will become when USPS gets their fleet of EV’s at a low, low cost to taxpayers. The Oshkosh Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) is a mail truck for the United States Postal Service (USPS). The contract award, made to Oshkosh Defense, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation,(pure happenstance that some of the company's major institutional holders include: Blackrock Inc., Vanguard Group, and IncAristotle Capital Management, LLC), in February 2021, is valued at $6 billion. Up to 160,000 vehicles will be built in a new South Carolina factory.[3][4] Four variants of the NGDV are expected to be in fleet use: both gasoline-powered and battery-electric, in either front wheel drive or all wheel drive.[5] The USPS was scheduled to start receiving the vehicles October 2023; however, this was repeatedly delayed and by December 2024 only 93 vehicles had been delivered. This is what the American people voted for in 2020?
Never forget the 7.5 billion for public charging stations; Biden’s $7.5 billion EV charging stations program, which promised half a million installations, still has over 499,990 to go after three years. But wait, here’s the best part: the delay is in large part due to the White House’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. President Joe Biden has reportedly expressed frustration with the pace at which his infrastructure projects are getting built, but he should look at his executive orders since becoming President, some of which have contributed to the delays in project progress.
USPS-PONY EXPRESS WAS FASTER-You pay $.73 for a stamp-Corps pay $.35-.$40 for a flier-cheaper if bulk shipped . Charge ‘em $.73 and the Corps quit-no junk, no USPS. How simple can it be? The Postal Regulatory Commission is responsible for oversight of the U.S. Postal Service, including oversight of rates and services, and ensuring the Postal Service meets all of its legal requirements. Then all the legal requirements must be written on the back of the inspector’s hand. A copy of this post is going to the OIG and the PRC. What are the odds I’ll get a reply?
