Nice move. Will the Democrats accept and fund Homeland Security-for the safety of our country, TSA agents, airline passengers? Probably not. Word is anyone who changes a vote gives up his/her career.
Senator Mike Lee: a HYBRID form of the talking filibuster is now set to be implemented. That means Democrats will be FORCED to take the floor and defend their radical anti-voter-ID agenda. possibly for HOURS or even DAYS, against a bill that 90% of the American people support. Seems only fair to let ‘em explain why voter registration/ID is a grave threat to our democracy.

DJT blinked. The deadline passed and neither Cornyn nor Paxton dropped out. So we’ll have 2 months to blow through millions in campaign money. Cornyn spent 78 Million for 42% of the vote. Paxton spent 4 million for 41% of the vote. They now have 2 months to prove the other is not fit to serve. Both have baggage, but Paxton will fight for the voters and Cornyn will fight for Cornyn.
Clyburn: SAVE Act Not About Voter ID, ‘This Is About Suppressing the Vote’
Monday on CNN’s “The Lead,” Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) said the SAVE America Act was not about requiring voters to have photo ID, it was “about suppressing the vote.” He’s exactly right, except he forgot to add ‘illegal’.

Can hardly view this as a Trump blink. He says he will not endorse until the SAVE Act is on his desk. Lo and behold, to the surprise of no one, Mr. Cornyn did a180 on the issue. Probably confident Loser Lisa's vote would cancel his, as he has stated he wouldn't vote for it. As far as Paxton and his baggage go, cast the first stone, or STFU about it. There is no greater oxymoron than honest politician, but at least Paxton gets things done. Cornyn does for Cornyn. Just like Thune does for Thune. This bill would already be passed if he would find his balls and dump the filibuster, but I guess he likes being buns up kneeling behind McConnel. I have contacted both Cruz and Cornyn on the issue of this Act, bet you can guess the response I got.
